]]> Painting the new Vans store in Seville has been a very exciting project. What I enjoyed the most about this work was integrating the essence of Seville into a contemporary space, bringing to the walls elements that connect with the city’s identity. In the mural, I depicted the Giralda, the moon and the star of Camarón de la Isla, flamenco women, and elements of Mozarabic architecture, combining them with Vans’ iconic checkerboard patterns.

For the fitting room area, I hand-painted several skateboards, inspired by the Vans identity. The contrast of blending the essence of Seville with the Vans image in the same space has been a creative challenge that I found especially rewarding.
